The Echo DSRM-2600/L with loop handle is designed for professional level work. The brushless motor at its heart offers power equivalent to a 25cm³ petrol engine, combine this with perfect balance and an array of features for comfort and you have a tool perfectly suited to making light work of big jobs.

The sequential three-step speed control and engine-like throttle lever give precise cutting and have been built for responsiveness that feels just like a petrol-powered tool. Components like the gear case are the same type used in Echo petrol brush cutters and are incredibly durable and easy to maintain.

The attention Echo’s engineering team has put into making the unit as comfortable as possible is clear from the first touch. The machine has been perfectly balanced by placing the motor in line with the axial shaft, giving even balance. This means that the unit would balance perfectly if you were to hold and lift it from its center point. This makes a huge difference when out on the job, the tool just feels so much more maneuverable and lightweight. Weighing in at only 3.2kg, it’s the lightest trimmer in its class. With a perfect centre of balance you have a tool that’s extremely manoeuvrable and comfortable to use over long periods of time.

The tool comes as standard with a Speed Feed 400 trimmer head and Echo Black Diamond trimmer line which is a potent combination for cutting efficiency. Should you be tackling some seriously heavy stuff out there you can also opt for the three-cutter metal blade (which can be purchased separately), to make short work of thick brush and even small branches.

Echo’s patented revolutionary Speed-Feed® trimmer head takes the hassle out of refilling your trimmer head and is the easiest loading tap-to advance head available. In fact the Speed-Feed reloads in under 30 seconds with just three easy steps, all without taking the head apart. SF400 is perfectly balanced for vibration-free operation and comes pre-loaded with 2.4mm Black Diamond line.

The Echo DSRM-2600/L features the latest in lithium-ion technology and is incredibly close to a petrol tool in terms of build and performance, but of course, with the benefits of being emission-free, quiet and needing less maintenance. The advanced energy efficiency systems in the tool ensure that power is not wasted and is utilised when most needed, giving the DSRM-2600/L an estimated run time of around 30 minutes of continuous use on the highest power.
